Terms of Use

1. About DAREO

DAREO is a Truth or Dare mobile game available on iOS and Android (Bundle ID: com.dareo.app), developed by Fibroweb. The app enables two players to challenge each other with truths and dares, share media proof, and chat after completing rounds.

Adult content warning: DAREO includes a “Chaos” mode featuring explicit truths and dares. The app is rated 17+ on iOS and Mature on Android. You must be 18 years of age or older to use DAREO.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use DAREO.
• By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
• If we discover that a user is under 18, the account will be immediately suspended and all data deleted.

3. Your Account

3.1 Account Creation

You can create an account using:

• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In
• Guest access (limited features — no in-app purchases, no chat)

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account with others.

3.2 Account Suspension & Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting hello@fibroweb.fr. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently erased.

4. Rules of Conduct

You agree to use DAREO in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:

• Upload illegal content (child exploitation material, non-consensual intimate imagery, etc.)
• Harass, threaten, or bully other users
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the app for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the app
• Create multiple accounts to evade a ban
• Use automated bots or scripts

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund of any coins or purchases.

5. User-Generated Content

DAREO allows users to submit text answers to truths, and upload photos and videos as dare proof. You retain ownership of the content you create. By submitting content, you grant Fibroweb a limited license to store and display it to the other player in your match.

DAREO is not responsible for content submitted by users. Any illegal content may be reported through the in-app reporting system and will be reviewed for removal and potential legal action.

Content shared during a match is visible only to the two players involved. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right to share any content you upload.

6. In-App Purchases & Coins

6.1 Virtual Currency

DAREO uses a virtual currency called coins. Coins can be purchased through the following packs:

• 100 coins
• 550 coins
• 1,200 coins
• 2,500 coins

6.2 Use of Coins

• Unlock Chaos-level dares
• Lift an account ban (100 coins — see Section 7 on Moderation)

6.3 Non-Refundable

Coins are a non-refundable virtual currency. They hold no monetary value outside of the app and cannot be exchanged for real money or transferred between accounts.

All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat. DAREO does not store any payment or banking information. Refund requests are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.

7. Moderation & Bans

Users can report another player from the reaction screen. Reports are reviewed and handled according to the following strike system:

• Strike 1: Warning
• Strike 2: 24-hour ban
• Strike 3: 48-hour ban
• Strike 4+: 100-hour ban

A temporary ban can be lifted early by spending 100 coins. This option is not available for permanent bans resulting from severe violations.

DAREO reserves the right to permanently ban any account without warning in cases of illegal content, harassment, or systematic abuse of the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in DAREO — including but not limited to the app design, interface, question database, game mechanics, graphics, and branding — is owned by Fibroweb and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of DAREO without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

DAREO is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Fibroweb is not responsible for any content submitted by users.
• Fibroweb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of DAREO.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app and may suspend the service for maintenance.

10. Changes to the Service

We may at any time:

• Add, modify, or remove features
• Update pricing of coin packs (with notice)
• Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of DAREO after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of DAREO will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Perpignan, France.
